EPO Shield 400 is a two-component epoxy circuit board encapsulant designed to conceal proprietary circuit-board designs while providing durable protection for electronic assemblies.

EPO Shield 400 is formulated for applications where circuit-board components, layouts and proprietary designs need to be obscured from view. Once applied, the epoxy forms a solid protective encapsulation around the electronic assembly.

The system is well suited for manufacturers, repair facilities, OEMs and other applications where protecting intellectual property and shielding sensitive electronic components are important.

  Mixing & Application

  EPO Shield 400 is supplied as a two-component epoxy system. Thoroughly mix the pre-measured components for 3–5 minutes until the material is completely uniform in color and consistency.

  Do not shake the components. Mix mechanically using the appropriate low-speed mixing equipment, and avoid introducing unnecessary air into the material.

  Once mixed, apply the material evenly over the circuit-board assembly so the components and proprietary design are fully concealed and encapsulated.
