Z-TEC 752 Ceramic Epoxy Coating
High-performance ceramic-filled epoxy coating for the repair, protection and re-lining of pumps and industrial process equipment.
Z-TEC 752 is a 100% solids, high-build, brushable ceramic epoxy coating designed to protect equipment exposed to abrasion, erosion, corrosion and demanding fluid-handling environments.
Z-TEC 752 is the white base or prime coat in the Z-TEC 752/753 protective coating system and is commonly used on:
- Pump casings
- Impellers and impeller blades
- Fan blades
- Valves
- Water-circulating equipment
- Marine equipment
- Industrial process equipment
- Surfaces exposed to abrasive particles, erosion and corrosion
Ceramic Protection for Severe Service
Z-TEC 752 provides excellent wear, impact and chemical resistance and creates a tough protective barrier over properly prepared metal surfaces.
For equipment with deep pitting, erosion or substantial material loss, Z-TEC 751 Ceramic Epoxy Putty can first be used to rebuild the damaged surface before applying the Z-TEC 752/753 coating system.
Two-Coat Z-TEC System
For maximum protection, Z-TEC 752 is used as the white base coat, followed by Z-TEC 753, which cures to a brick-red finish.
The contrasting colors make it easy to visually confirm complete and uniform coverage of both coats.
Working Time and Performance
Dynamis Epoxy uses 75°F as its standard room-temperature testing condition.
At 75°F:
- Mix ratio: 1:1 by volume
- Working time: approximately 30–60 minutes
- Typical application thickness: 15–20 mils per coat
- 2-lb kit yield: approximately 29 cubic inches
- Mixed color: White
- Temperature resistance: up to approximately 350°F
Z-TEC 752 provides excellent resistance to water, salt spray, oils, fuel oil, alkalies and many commonly encountered industrial chemicals.
