EPO Dynaweight BAL-I-FS

Fast-curing epoxy dynamic balancing compound for motors, fans, pumps, and other rotating equipment.

EPO Dynaweight BAL-I-FS is a dense, two-component epoxy balancing compound designed for correcting imbalance in rotating parts where a faster return to service is desired.

BAL-I-FS allows balancing weight to be placed exactly where it is needed and provides enough working time for test balancing and adjustment before the material begins to harden.

It is well suited for:

• Electric motor rotors and armatures
• Fans and blowers
• Pump components and lobes
• Generators
• Industrial rotating equipment
• Rollers and spindles
• OEM manufacturing
• Motor and equipment repair facilities
• Other rotating components requiring precise balancing

Faster Balancing and Return to Service

BAL-I-FS provides a faster-curing alternative to Original EPO Dynaweight while still allowing time to position, test and adjust the balancing compound.

This makes it particularly useful for repair shops, production facilities and maintenance operations where reducing equipment downtime is important.

Working Time and Cure

Dynamis Epoxy uses 75°F as its standard room-temperature testing condition.

At 75°F:

• Mix ratio: 1:1
• Working time: approximately 45–60 minutes
• Initial Cure / Hard Set: approximately 90 minutes
• Full Cure: approximately 7 days

Warmer temperatures will accelerate the reaction, while colder temperatures will extend working and cure times.

EPO Dynaweight BAL-I-FS has a one-year shelf life when properly stored in unopened containers.
