The Original EPO Dynaweight is a dense, two-component epoxy balancing compound developed specifically for correcting imbalance in rotating parts.

Used for decades by OEM manufacturers, motor repair shops, and industrial maintenance facilities, EPO Dynaweight provides a simple and effective alternative to traditional balancing weights. The material can be applied exactly where weight is needed, helping eliminate many of the location and attachment problems associated with conventional balancing methods.

Easier Dynamic Balancing

EPO Dynaweight allows balancing weight to be added directly to the rotating component, reducing the need for drilling, welding or attaching conventional weights.

The compound is non-conductive, making it particularly useful around electrical components where metallic balancing methods may create additional concerns.

Its long working time also allows the technician to apply, test and adjust the amount and location of the balancing compound before the material hardens.

Working Time and Cure

Dynamis Epoxy uses 75°F as its standard room-temperature testing condition.

At 75°F:

• Working time: approximately 2–2½ hours
• Initial cure / hard set: approximately 12 hours

EPO Dynaweight may also be accelerated with heat when a faster return to service is required.

Warmer temperatures will shorten working and cure times, while colder temperatures will extend them.
