EPO Dynaweight BAL-VI

Dynaweight BAL VI is a fan balancing compound designed for fans, rotors, impellers, pump components, and other rotating industrial equipment. Its 2–2.5 hour pot life provides extended working time when additional placement and adjustment time is helpful. The two-part 1:1 epoxy system allows controlled weight placement to help correct imbalance while providing a durable cured mass. BAL VI is supplied as a pre-measured system for consistent mixing and application. For best results, follow the product instructions for proper surface preparation, mixing, application, and cure.

The 1:1 formulation allows balancing weight to be placed precisely where needed and adjusted during the balancing process.

More Time for Balancing and Adjustment

BAL-VI provides a longer working period than the faster-curing BAL formulations, making it especially useful when balancing larger components or applications that require additional time for testing, placement and adjustment.

Working Time and Cure

Dynamis Epoxy uses 75°F as its standard room-temperature testing condition.

At 75°F:

• Mix ratio: 1:1
• Working time: approximately 2–2½ hours
• Initial Cure / Hard Set: approximately 6–8 hours
• Full Cure: approximately 7 days

Warmer temperatures will shorten working and cure times, while colder temperatures will extend them.

EPO Dynaweight BAL-VI has a one-year shelf life when properly stored in unopened containers.
